The times when owning a website was a status symbol are over.
What are the requirements nowadays? Concept and quality hold the key to a modern company image.

Surprisingly, and unfortunately, many companies still attach little importance to their websites.

Before I talk about the importance of websites, I would like to outline why the Internet has recently become so popular and prevalent.

Our information tools used to be limited to mainstream media such as television, newspapers, radio and advertising. These, however, are one-way media, and because of their limited content and difficult timing, there are limitations regarding the matching of distributor and audience.

The Internet, on the other hand, has unprecedented advantages like bidirectionality, on-demand capabilities, search function, categorization, communities, sharing, storage, and holds unlimited potential for the future.

Nowadays, not only young people, but people of any age, regard the Internet as their foremost source of information.
We use it to obtain every possible information new and old related to our lives, work or hobbies, to exchange and share information - the Internet’s practical uses evolve and expand every day.
It has become part of our day-to-day lives.

Well then, let’s return to the main topic.
For instance, compare the website of your company to the one of a fast-growing company in a similar line of business. Can you feel that they project a superior company image?

A company with a website will probably have their URL printed on their business cards.
Their employees exchange business cards with prospective clients. And those clients will very likely check the URL on the business card.
If they see the website of your company, they might think that it doesn’t look very trustworthy. But where did you go wrong?

I will list some of the most important points company websites should take into account:

  • Design quality
  • The right amount of information
  • Clarity and an easy-to-use search function
  • Frequent updates
  • Relevant information

If your website gives a bad impression to visitors, it’s likely because you disregarded one of the above points.
Once you have made a bad impression, often nothing can be done to fix it.

At any given time someone might be looking at your company’s website. On the other hand, this could be seen as a chance for unlimited development.
All the more reason why the above points should be kept in mind.

Your company website establishes the image of your company in virtual reality, regardless of whether a physical business or office building exists.
If your website gives an impression of intelligence, this image will be transferred to your company. Nowadays, the address and appearance of your physical business or office building is not enough.

If, after reading this, you find that you haven’t taken your company’s website serious enough or misunderstood its purpose, how about taking this opportunity to rethink?

I’ll repeat it again:
“Does your website convey the right impression to your visitors?”

Nowadays, the demand for video content on the Internet is rising.
What is the effect and importance of attractive videos?

I’m sure you have all watched a video while exploring the Internet.
There are many video-sharing and streaming services like YouTube, Vimeo, DailyMotion, Ustream, etc. Fee-based video-on-demand sites like Hulu and Netflix, where viewers can watch what they want when they want, are also growing in popularity, strengthening the ties between video and the Internet.

Recently, even companies increasingly use video-sharing services.
After all, it’s a free method to advertise the company and its products.
Video has become an important tool to inform users in an easy-to-grasp way that is more concise than even well-presented text and images on a page.

Video commercials used to be the exclusive domain of major companies,
but nowadays, thanks to the growth of the Internet, anyone can distribute video content.

So let’s add a company introduction video to your website!
If a user is interested in your company or products, they will likely watch the video.
It’s goes without saying that it’s useful to have a fun and quick way to obtain information.
This approach of appealing to customers is different from the one used in online and print media adverts.

By the way, did you know that the best content for a video depends on the message you want to convey?

For instance, if you want to explain the use of a product, a video is much more effective than a long-winded explanation.
Unlike widely-known facts, information that needs some explanation is most accurately conveyed in video form.

If you quickly and easily explain the appeal and use of a product, the viewer will understand the product faster and show increased interest.
Which is to say, videos are a way to appeal to customers.

And websites are not the only place where they can be distributed.
It’s also possible to buy moderately priced advertising slots on cable TV, which has strong connections to the community.

It’s not just about conveying the attractiveness of the product, but about making it irresistible.
It’s not just about giving information regarding the product, but about doing it in a playful manner, using humor, excitement, communication, instinct.

Video content is suddenly much more readily available,
and more and more companies are adopting it.
Being able to use video contents effectively is certainly the key to great success from now on.

Nothing will happen if you just wait for someone to discover you! Show your abilities, sell yourself! A real approach if you want to become famous!

A great talent that only you recognize and know of.
Maybe you are neglecting your ability or have even given up on it because it’s a bother?
But maybe, if you had a chance, you would like to explore and maximize your potential?

“But I couldn’t ...” No, don’t say that! It would be a shame if you gave up without even trying.
To just give up and lead a “normal” life is kind of boring.

Doesn’t it feel restricting to conform to and live a normal life as an average member of society?

Maybe you have a rare talent that only one in a hundred, no, a thousand, or even 10,000 people, possess. Actually, I think that everyone has a talent.
But some people are not aware that they have an unusual talent.
If you are passionate about music or acting, there is really no reason why you shouldn’t give it a try.

After all, you only live once.
It might be obvious, but remember that if you don’t perform here, you might not get another chance ever.

If a chance presents itself to you, you should jump at it.
Maybe someone is impatiently waiting for you to step into the limelight.
Maybe someone is waiting to hear your music, waiting to stage your gig.

Actually, chances present themselves quite frequently.
But in most cases, people hesitate and let the chance go to waste.
The reason that they won’t take a step forward is often their lack of self-confidence.
They are afraid of being told that they are no good and want to avoid having their pride hurt.

But those are only their own standards, and pride just gets in the way.
How about a different approach, one where you see yourself as someone who does something special and has special abilities?

It matters if you think it’s worthwhile to challenge yourself to try a lifestyle that’s different from that of most people.

The bigger the dreams young people follow, the more hopeful for a bright future they are.
Yes, I’m sure that everyone is waiting for your debut!
